Three commitments separate a system that is delivered from a system that keeps working. Each is a practice, not a promise, and each leaves a document the client keeps.
Architecture before code
Decisions that are expensive to reverse — tenancy, data architecture, integration boundaries and access design — are made deliberately and documented before build begins. The client keeps the decision record, including the rejected alternatives and the reasoning behind each choice.
Deployment as a discipline
Deployment is planned, staged, rehearsed and reversible. Go-live is an engineered event authorised against readiness criteria, not an optimistic date in a plan. Rollback is proven before it is needed, not designed during an incident.
Adoption as the success measure
A system is delivered when the client operates it without us, not when it passes acceptance testing. Training, documentation and train-the-trainer are built into the engagement so that capability stays inside the institution.
