ERP module
Accounting and Financial Management
The control layer every other module reports into.
Included in EBO Core. This module is part of the EBO Core bundle, and is also available on its own. See the tiers →
What it controls
| Capability | Coverage |
|---|---|
| General ledger | Multi-level chart of accounts, cost centres, journal control and period close. |
| Payables | Supplier invoices, three-way matching against order and receipt, payment scheduling and ageing. |
| Receivables | Customer invoicing, receipt allocation, credit control and ageing analysis. |
| Cash and bank | Account management, statement import, automated reconciliation and cash position. |
| Budgeting | Preparation, allocation by cost centre and programme, commitment tracking and variance. |
| Reporting | Trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and donor or statutory formats. |
How it connects
Payroll, procurement, inventory, projects, grants, POS and the EIRMS — Electronic Invoice Registration System all post here automatically.
What it gives the institution. A number reported to a board, a funder or the Ministry of Revenues traces back to the transaction that produced it, without a reconciliation exercise standing between the two.
It also runs perfectly well on its own. If this is the only module you need, that is a supported deployment, not a compromise — and anything added later docks onto the same core.
